Chumpness!

Who takes the cake for the biggest chump? Earning a label of 'chumpness' is not an easy task. I am a chump when I don't follow through because I've chosen not to, not because I am unable to. A chump is like a chimpanzee who chooses not to eat his dinner because it wasn't served with syrup on the side.

We've all been chumps at one time or another. Chumpness is normal and occurs universally at every given moment. Over time, repeated chumpness will define us. Some of us are born chumps, genetically programmed to chump untill our last days.

In the short term , the recipient of chump behaviour appears most affected. But it is in the long term where the chumper loses, absent of completeness and peace.

Stimuli which trigger chumpness are infinite. The processing of this stimuli is also key and varies from among individuals. This processing is molded both by environment and DNA blueprinting.

Being a chump is understandable and excuseble when grace is present, but an overload of chumpness is toxic regardless of which angle you look at it. A chump free world is a more wholesome world!

To Follow, To Learn, And To Become

Erich Fromm:
Infantile love follows the principle: "I love because I am loved."Mature love follows the principle: "I am loved because I love."Immature love says: "I love you because I need you."Mature love says: "I need you because I love you."

Love is patient, love is kind.It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking.It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.Love never fails.I Corinthians 13:4-8

Carl Jung:
Where love rules, there is no will to power; and where power predominates, there love is lacking. The one is the shadow of the other.

Barbara De Angelis:
Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver.

Love: a temporary insanity, curable by marriage.

The Most Secret of Secrets

From behind the cloak they reek
Carying out self-designated roles
Plotting my fate and yours
Straight faced with tainted righteousness

The secrets they hold, they hoard
In the wrong hands they have fallen
Where many lives have sacraficed
In the name of God?, or in the name of men?

We look the other way
Those neon lights shine oh so bright
They make their moves
Slithery men reeking of cowardiceness

Judge to your pits' content
Of those who will die or live
Prepare though, for one thing is clear
Existence always finds it's balance

"A heart that aches is truly full of life"
